The event will feature a policy briefing on the Middle East and remarks by Ambassador Richard Haas. Founded in 1921, CFR is frequently cited as the nation’s most influential foreign policy think tank.

On November 3, Dr. Ivan Sascha Sheehan will deliver a talk titled Teaching Terrorism: A Systematic Review of Terrorism Courses at American Colleges and Universities at the Northeast Annual Conference of the International Studies Association.
The presentation is based on an empirical study he recently published in Perspectives On Terrorism and involved a systematic analysis of contemporary terrorism courses at 106 top-ranked universities and colleges in the United States.
