
On June 22, Dr. Ivan Sascha Sheehan will travel to Paris as a guest of the Organizing Committee for the Convention of Democracy in Iran to serve as an academic observer at an international gathering of expatriate Iranians. The event will feature remarks from leaders from more than fifty countries, a bipartisan delegation of U.S. policymakers, and distinguished academics from around the world. Democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and prospects for an Iranian Spring will be discussed in the wake of the tightly controlled presidential elections held on June 14th. UPDATE: #PHOTOS
