Sheehan Appointed to USM Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs

Dr. Ivan Sascha Sheehan – Associate Professor of Public and International Affairs – was named to the University System of Maryland Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for the programs of the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs. The Council’s mission is to facilitate a serious, comprehensive, and coherent public discussion of American Foreign Policy by convening distinguished authorities to address contemporary global issues. Recent speakers include but are not limited to:

  • GEN Michael V. Hayden, Director, CIA (2006-2009)
  • His Excellency Jalil Abbas Jilani, Ambassador of Pakistan to U.S.
  • Patrick Clawson, Ph.D., Senior Fellow, Director of Research & Director of the Iran Security Initiative, The Washington Institute for Near East Policy
  • Professor Alan J. Kuperman, The LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin

Dr. Ivan Sascha Sheehan is the Director of the graduate programs in Negotiations & Conflict Management and Global Affairs & Human Security in the College of Public Affairs at the University of Baltimore.
